Do you offer dealerships? I'd like to become a Rug Goddess for my city.

Yes: We are always on the lookout for the next Rug Goddess. In fact we actually have Mission Statement for new Rug Goddesses joining our team and it is....To allow talented driven design conscious women across the US a means of working from home when faced with the necessity of having to have a flexible schedule due to child or elderly care, while still giving them the ability to follow their passion for area rugs and design. How do you charge for your services?

There is a $85.00 on-site consultation fee for the Tampa/Clearwater and Kansas City area (additional fees may apply for other areas), we will apply the $85.00 to your area rug purchase.

What if I don't live in the Tampa Bay or Kansas City area but would like to use your services?

We offer two solutions;

  1. You could simply pick up the travel and expenses and we would be more than glad to visit you regardless of where you live. We have clients all over the U.S. Please call and we will be glad to provide a quote.
  2. You can do a virtual in-home by sending us a picture of the room or space you want the area rug to go in via email. We will then have a conference call with you to ask you specific questions about the existing furniture, wall and floor colors, fabrics, or existing art work. We will then send recommendations of rugs that we feel will work in your space, asking you to narrow to the top three choices. From that point we can send you real samples of the rug choices for you to touch and feel before placing any orders of larger rugs this will eliminate costly return shipping charges of returning the large rug if it doesn't happen to work in your space.

Cost $85.00, we will apply this fee towards the purchase of your rug.

What if I am on a limited budget?

No Worries! We can accommodate virtually any budget. Because our overhead costs are minimal this enables Rug Goddess to offer our clients internet pricing every single day, combined with expert area rug advice and guidance with no limitations on selection. We also promise to educate you on the differences in manufacturing. Then together we will make the most out of your budget so you won't get stuck with a rug that will not wear well or be unhappy with after a season. We want you happy long term!

How long does it take to make a custom area rug?

Depending on the style, type, and size of your area rug, it can take anywhere from a couple of weeks to several months if you order a custom hand knotted area rug. Mainly it boils down to the construction of the rug whether it's hand-knotted, hand-tufted, ready made, or fabricated roll goods. But don't worry we will educated you and make sure you will make the best decision for your needs and your deadline.

Do you bring rugs to the house?

The initial consultation is generally for measuring the room, collecting colors, and viewing and getting to know the clients taste. This will give us insight for selecting the perfect rugs for you. Then we bring samples on the second visit to touch and feel as we stock many of them on hand and will order if we don't. Remember most of the manufacturers offer corner samples or small sample sized rugs (2 x 3) for viewing and approving before you purchase your area rug, and we will go a step further here at Rug Goddess by rebating off this cost if you are shopping on line and simply wish to view before your purchase. We do prefer that you limit your selections to 1-3 samples. This too will save you the hassle and the cost of shipping large rugs back that don't work.

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the continental US, but will be happy to call to get a quote for shipping out of the US for 8' x 10' or smaller rugs.
