Try before you buy
A vast majority of our rugs are now offered in sample sizes so you can touch and feel the product before ordering the larger size. If the sample is not available we encourage you to order the smallest size (usually a 2' x 3'). The smaller size will help you decide whether or not you have the correct colors before you invest in the larger size rug. Once you've made a decision, you can return the small sample or area rug and order the correct size, and Rug Goddess will credit the price of the sample (less shipping) towards the larger size rug, and that's a great benefit for Rug Goddess online shoppers! However we find that a lot of our clients will end up keeping the smaller rug for another area such as a kitchen sink area or bath, or simply to have a swatch to transport easily for color. But if you prefer to return the small sample, just let us know within 15 days and we'll send you return shipping instructions. Return shipping for a 2' x 3' will usually average $10-$15, versus $80-$100 or more for an 8' x 10' or larger. Start with your favorite selections, as we ask you to narrow your sampling to no more than two or three.

Some items may ship directly from the manufacturer within 5 days. If you need quick ship please contact us for a quote we would be happy to do it for an additional shipping charge. Either way, you can expect your rug to arrive within 7 to 10 business days, unless it falls on a Holiday then please allow extra time. If, for some reason, your order is delayed, we will let you know via e-mail, then monitor your order until it's delivered to you. Over-sized shipments (rugs wider than 8 ft. 6 in. wide) are too large for UPS or FedEx and will ship via truck line and therefore may take extra time.

If your order doesn't meet your expectations for any reason, return it for a full refund within 15 days of receiving. We do not have re-stocking fees or hidden charges. If you need to return, you are only responsible for the return shipping expense, unless the product is clearly defective and brought to our attention within 15 days. Simply call 1-800-481-1572 with your return information to receive a return authorization number to ship your merchandise back. Just make sure all original packaging and labels are included. Once your rug has been received we will issue a refund of your purchase price. Refunds will be issued within a few days of the merchandise being received.

Note: We will refuse any return if….

            • It has been damaged or soiled
            • It has been shipped after 15 days of receipt.

NOTE: Personalized, custom made items, over-sized rugs (larger than 8'6" x 11'6"), and or sale/clearance rugs are not returnable unless there is a defect in which of course we will happy to provide you with a replacement of the rug you ordered or if the rug is no longer available then something similar in value.
