Brothers Paul, Alex, and Stephen Peykar founded Nourison in New York City in 1980 after building a strong reputation in the retail flooring segment. They brought with them a wealth of knowledge about the challenges facing retailers involved in importing, and they were determined to apply those insights to create a wholesale rug and carpet distribution process that could deliver a truly exceptional level of service across the entire supply chain, all the way to the stocking dealer.
